Birmingham native Shelby Adams is originally from Mountain Brook. He attended Baylor University and eventually got his culinary degree from Scottsdale Culinary Institute. Since then he has worked in New Orleans and in some of Birmingham's best restaurants, such as Hot and Hot Fish Club, Standard Bistro and Bottega. Shelby is extremely excited to cross over from restaurant life to bakery, creating the smells and flavors reminiscent of his grandmother's kitchen. Katie Adams is originally from Perry, Georgia and graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in Speech Communications. She has since worked for the UGA Alumni Association and currently for the UAB School of Health Professions in a development role. Katie also has a zest for community service, serving on the Junior League and the Magic Moments Junior Board. Together the Adams are busy baking Birmingham's best cookies, and making every occasion a bit more special with their superb recipes.
